In 1986 M & D was opened under ownership of Tom and Cindy DeMerchant. At the convenience store you can find almost anything you need. They provide hardware, groceries and meats. Propane and Irving gas and oil. They have an ice cream bar opened for the summer season. They also provide a payment center for NBTel and NB power bills.
